Even Monkeys Fall from Trees

Here it go agains.....Indian Hockey touching a new low...not able to qualify for the Olympics for the first time in its history. But is it really a surprise...I dont think so and the answers lies in looking at whats been happening to the NATIONAL SPORT in the recent past. It losts its position in the governments supported sports..that should have been a indication that the things are not panning out very well for our NATIONAL SPORT. But a win at the ASIA CUP and everybody thought everything is FINE again and HOCKEY is its way to its glorious past again...so whats changed since ASIA CUP India have lost only two matches to ENGLAND and hence failed to qualify...but if the TEAM was on its way to its GLORIOUS PAST then shouldn't it be on it now as well ?
But the point is nobody bothers about HOCKEY thats the thing....all the MEDIA was shouting after INDIA failed to qualify but were they really bothered about the game... in CRICKET the moment a wicket falls or some milestone is reached its FLASHED across the NEWS. But in the HOCKEY qualifiers TEN SPORTS the BROADCASTER showed a Delayed version of the match and there was no UPDATE of the MATCH on the so called "BREAKING NEWS" TV Channels of whats happening in CHILE with our team and next day they had NO OTHER NEWS but to DISSECT what was wrong with INDIA's Performance.
Mr. Ric Charlesworth says he was not happy with the way the INDIAN Team PREPARED for the tournament...its good to be WISE now so why didnt he raise his voice earlier or was his voice MUTED due to a person called MR KPS GILL. Here is the HEAD of INDIAN HOCKEY FEDREATION on NATIONAL TELEVISION and CHOKING in his voice but still not ready to take the blame for the DEBACLE.
I think the one person who should not have taken the blame for the debacle was our COACH Joaquim Carvalho, I have seen INDIAN Players respond to his call and play as a TEAM, in the qualifiers FINAL if anyone would have seen it was in the first 5 mins that INDIA lost the match and in the rest of the game INDIANS were equal if not better than the ENGLISHMEN. But sadly its the COACH who has taken personal responsibilty for the failure where as its others who are responsible.
Also there is no point in blaming CRICKET for its debacle its as if the FAILED student of the class telling the TEACHER he failed because the TOPPER scored? whats the sense in that I dont get...if any of you have any idea of how CRICKET is responsible for HOCKEY's MESS please let me know..
Mr Gill says he will only step down after he resurrects the INDIAN HOCKEY TEAM, Mr GILL we have had enough of your NON SENSE for last DECADE, please go and enjoy your life in RETIREMENT, I am sad to use such words for such a great person but SORRY he has no place in INDIAN HOCKEY and FRANKLY speaking he NEVER HAD ONE.
As I have said in the TITLE "Even Monkeys Fall from Trees", but it is what do we learn from that fall, if we want we can continue the FREE FALL we are in HOCKEY right now or we can get determined and stop the buck and start the rebuilding of the structure, we are one of the best teams at the U-19 levels for some time now so why not the INTERNATIONAL Level, we need to do some real hard soul searching and we do not need people like MR GILL who have tooo much SELF EGO because of which the game has reached this state.
